Personal life
Morey and her fiancé Jonathon Dutton announced on September 8, 2014, that they were expecting their first child. On November 28, 2014, she gave birth to their daughter. Morey and Dutton were married on October 31, 2015. During an appearance on The Wright Stuff in June 2017, Morey revealed that she was expecting her second child, a girl.
Career
While earning a Bachelor of Arts degree at Deakin University, Morey concentrated on drama and media studies. She also completed a foundation course at the Victorian College of the Arts. Lucy Green appeared in Pig's Breakfast, a Nine Network children's television series, for two years. She was accepted into the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2000.
In an episode of All Saints in 2007, Morey played Gina Quinn. Paige in Home and Away was also a guest star. Sonya Mitchell, a two-year-old guide dog trainer, joined Neighbours in the recurring role of guide dog trainer Sonya Mitchell. Morey had been promoted to regular cast member in August 2010. Morey signed a new deal in February 2011 to continue with Neighbours for another year.
In the 2009 short comedy film Blind Date, Morey played Blonde Girl. In the ensuing year, she was a member of Evie in Hobby Farm. Morey has appeared in a number of theatre performances for the Sydney Theatre Company and the Melbourne Theatre Company.
Morey will leave Neighbours after her character is written off in January 2019. Morey later revealed that her deal had not been renewed, and that she had requested for her character to die, since she knew Sonya would not be able to leave her husband and children. Her last episode aired on March 5, 2019. Morey was nominated for the Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television and the Logie Award for Most Popular Actress later this year. On January 1, 2020, she made an uncredited cameo appearance as Sonya.
Following her departure from Neighbours, Morey found a role in the second season of Mystery Road.
