Ritchie returned to Home and Away in 2013 for a brief reprise of her role as Sally Fletcher, marking the 25th anniversary of the series's appearance. Ritchie has also appeared on television shows, a mini-series, and an Australian film in addition to 20 years on Home and Away.

She has also been a member of the Campbelltown Musical Society. She is now known as a member of the Kate, Tim, and Marty radio crew.

Kate contributes a lot to the show but is best known for her competitive streak, playing games on the show such as Quickdraw against guest celebrities and The Age Game.

Three major ACRA awards have been won by the Kate, Tim and Marty Show.

The team received the Best Networked Program at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards in 2015.

They were then named Best On Air in 2016 and 2017 and then again in 2017.
