Eim Todd Ellis (born February 23, 1985) is a Canadian actor.

He is best known for his appearance on Degrassi: The Next Generation and Danny Ellis on Falcon Beach.

Early life

E.M. Ellis was born in Toronto, Ontario, on February 23, 1985. His mother is an artist and jeweler, while his father is a visual artist and former stage manager for The Second City in Toronto.

Elementim began acting at Earl Haig Secondary School in Toronto, Ontario, as part of the Claude Watson School of the Arts curriculum. Ephraim and John Bregar appeared in Earl Haig together with Degrassi co-star Jake Epstein and John Bregar.

Career

During seasons three and four of Degrassi: The Next Generation, Eim Ellis' first television appearance was an eight-episo. He portrayed Rick Murray, the actor who famously shot and paraphrased Jimmy Brooks in the Aubrey 'Drake' Graham's role.

Since appearing on Degrassi, Ephraim appeared on such television shows as Naturally Sadie, Wild Card, and Sue Thomas, F.B.Eye, before landing the series lead role of Danny Ellis in the International Television / ABC Family drama series Falcon Beach. Falcon Beach appeared on two seasons before 2006, when it was cancelled as a result of ABC Family's decision not to renew the series for a third season.

In seasons two and three of the YTV sci-fi series Zixx, as Dylan, and in the Canadian Film Centre's short film The Man Inch has premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Ephraim played Eli Keller on the YTV sitcom Family Biz, which filmed in Ottawa during the summer of 2008.

Eth Greening, a supernatural survivologist, appeared in the Canadian Film Center horror/comedy web-series Seth On Survival in 2009. In 2011, the series became a spin-off web-series, Your Lupine Life, where Eth's role as Seth was reprised, as well as writing the episode in which he appeared. As a tie-in to the two web-series, Egan wrote and published Archie Hartigan & The Frost Wolf, a young adult fiction book set in the same universe as Seth On Survival and Your Lupine Life.

Paddy Glynn, a Toronto Gazette reporter, appeared in several episodes of Murdoch Mysteries season four.

Ephraim appeared on The Rocket Scientists from 2011 to 2016, as well as Brandon Hackett, Kevin MacNeil, and Chris Small.

In the 2014 horror/musical/comedy film Stage Fright, Minnie Driver and Meat Loaf appeared alongside Elementine Driver and Meat Loaf. In a performance by Toronto's Now Magazine later this year, Ephraim played Hedwig, displaying a profound sadness under the makeup, sparkly costumes, and iconic blond wig. Following Legally Blonde and two Jesus Christ Superstar productions, Eddy returned to the Lower Ossington.

In productions of Perfect Wedding at the Lighthouse Festival Theatre in Port Dover, Barefoot, Barefoot, Ethel at The Money Tree and The Money Tree at The Windsor Theatre for Young Audiences, Enoch continued to make forays into the world of Ontario theatre.

In 2018, Ephraim reunited with his Degrassi co-stars to appear in Drake's single "I'm Upset"'s music video, reprising his role as Rick Murray.
