Eoin Christopher Macken (born February 21, 1983) is an Irish writer, film maker, and model. Macken has appeared in films such as Resident Evil, Close, Killing Jesus, and Centurion.

Early life
Macken was born in Dublin. He has two sisters. Macken started his modeling and acting careers at University College Dublin in 2002 and 2003, after which he joined Morgan the Agency and was selected as the face of the Abercrombie and Fitch 2003 campaign. Ralph Lauren also modeled for him.
Career
Macken's first big film appearance came in 2005, starring Brendan Gleeson and Emmett J. Scanlan. Gavin Cluxton, a drug dealer, appeared in several episodes of Fair City's television series Fair City in 2008.
Before appearing in the 2008 Galway Film Fleadh, Macken produced and edited his debut feature film Christian Blake, which premiered at the Mid Ulster Film Festival 2008. Celebrity Distribution and the sales firm Around The Scenes Inc. announced it on May 19, 2009. Una Healy's album "Don't Leave Me Alone" was co-wrote and directed by him. It was the title track for the no-budget indie film, for which Healy composed a portion of the soundtrack.
Dreaming For You, Stephen Hughes' second feature film, was released in 2008, he wrote, directed, and appeared in his second feature film, Dreaming For You. The film featured The Evora, a Dublin band. The film was chosen for the 2007 Los Angeles Short Film Festival and the 2009 Galway Film Fleadh.
Macken appeared in two series of RTÉ's Raw in 2009–10. He played an American soldier named Calhoon) in Neil Marshall's film Small Island (playing an American soldier named Calhoon) and in the second series of RTÉ's Raw. Macken completed shooting for Cold, a 2013 film directed by Macken, and he stars in the film alongside former co-star Tom Hopper. In a small village in the west of Ireland, two unrelated English brothers are outcasts. They are immediately at odds with each other when they discover a girl buried in the moors after being drawn back together by the unexpected death of their father. The film was partially funded by an Indiegogo campaign. The film was later released under the name Leopard.
Macken converted Rob Doyle's award-winning book Here Are the Young Men into a screenplay and directed the resulting film after directing several independent films. Elisha Cuthbert will appear in The Cellar, alongside Elisha Cuthbert.
