Drew Abbott (born January 13, 1947) is an American guitarist best known for his appearance in Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band (1974), Alive (1978), and The Distance (1982). Abbott appeared in the Detroit-based band Third Power prior to being apart from Seger. He left the Silver Bullet Band during "The Distance" period in 1983 because he didn't like Seger's use of session musicians.
Abbott migrated to Traverse City, Michigan, where he formed the band Burning Circle with pianist Tim Sparling and Al Jacquez, a former Savage Grace vocalist.
He currently appears in Leo Creek, a Michigan-based band.
