Despite her inexperience with modeling, she was one of the top ten finalists for the Fresh Face title.

Vedam, an anthology drama film, received accolades at various award functions. With the Ravi Teja-starrer Mirapakay launching next, she took two more films in a snap. Wanted with Gopichand, which marked her debut as a leading female character in Mirapakay, was detonated as a box-office bomb two weeks later.
