Deborah Adair Miller (born Deborah Adair Miller in Lynchburg, Virginia) is an American television actress best known for her appearances in soap operas.
Early life
Adair was born in Lynchburg, Virginia, and earned a degree in advertising and marketing at the University of Washington. She worked as a copywriter, commercial engineer, and assistant promotion manager for radio stations in Seattle, Washington. Adair was married to actress Gary Baker for four years before divorcing in 1978.
Personal life

Career
Adair discovered an agent who helped her land small parts in several television shows. She made her debut on the daytime soap opera Jill Foster Abbott's The Young and the Restless in 1980. Tracy Kendall played Tracy Kendall in the primetime soap opera Dynasty from 1983 to 1984, a role she played until 1984. Daisy Lloyd appeared in another Aaron Spelling series, Finder of Lost Loves, in 1984. She continued her in this series. She made a one-week return to The Young and the Restless in 1986 to reprise her role as Jill. She appeared on the daytime soap opera Santa Barbara for a few episodes.
Chip Hayes, an Adair television presenter, married Adair in 1987. She appeared on primetime soap opera Melrose Place with her husband, where she played the role of advertising executive Lucy Cabot from 1992 to 1993. Kate Roberts appeared on Days of Our Lives in 1993 and became one of the few actresses to perform both in a daytime soap opera and a nighttime soap opera. She left Melrose Place while working on Days of Our Lives, a competition for which she received the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Soap Opera Digest Award in 1994.
