Dann Gallucci Life

Dann Gallucci (born March 31, 1975) is an American songwriter, producer, and audio engineer best known for his collaboration with Modest Mouse, The Murder City Devils, and Cold War Kids.

Gallucci was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and spent time in Seattle, Washington, with Modest Mouse's Isaac Brock on the band's website in 1993 and later joined full-time to record multiple singles, including Sad Sappy Sucker, which was released by independent record label K Records in 2001. While in Modest Mouse, Gallucci co-founded Area 51 and Death Wish Kids, which featured members of the Murder City Devils.

Tim Green of Country of Ulysses performed one single, and Death Wish Kids released two singles before disbanding. Spencer Moody, Dann Gallucci, Derek Fudesco, Coady Willis, and Nate Manny were among the Murder City Devils' members who formed in 1996.

The band recorded three singles, Three Natural Sixes (Hopscotch Records #5) and Dance Hall Music (Empty Records MTR-354), as a Sub Pop subsidiary, and Die Young Stay Pretty.

In 1997, their self-titled debut album was released. Gallucci co-wrote and performed guitar on Modest Mouse's "Trailer Trash" and "Bankrupt on Selling," which appeared on the album The Lonesome Crowded West, which was released by Up Records in 1996.

Pitchfork Media ranked "Trailer Trash" #63 on their list of the Top 200 Tracks of the 1990s.
