Omar Alfredo Rodrpez (born September 1, 1975) is an American guitarist, singer, producer, and film director. He is best known for his role as the guitarist and band-leader of The Mars Volta from 2001 to 2012, and he is also the guitarist for alternative rock bands At the Drive-In, Antemasque, and Bosnian Rainbows. * He was also the bassist for the Dub band De Facto.
