Frank Childress (born July 6, 1998), also known as Comethazine, is an American rapper and songwriter.

He is best known for his single "Walk," which debuted at number 20 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, which is the most popular Under Hot 100 chart. Since 2018, Comethazine has issued three mixtapes: Bawskee 2, Bawskee 2, and the most recently Bawskee 3.0, all to mainly critical reception.

Career

Comethazine started posting his music on SoundCloud and video sharing sites as a child, enabling him to quit his day as a mechanic and concentrate on music full-time.

A SoundCloud feature that allows for a personal sound file to be changed was exploited in early 2018 for rapper YBN Nahmir's "Bounce Out with That," which was later renamed with his album "Bands," causing the chart to be accessed for "Bounce Out with That." Although the account associated with the switch has since been deleted, it is uncertain who committed the robbery. This incident, as well as "Bands," which later appeared on his debut mixtape Bawskee, helped raise the profile of the band "Bands." "Walk," another song on the mixtape, became a viral hit and drew attention to Comethazine. In 2019, he was selected to be a member of the 2019 XXL Freshman Class. In June 2019, Comethazine announced the creation of Hench Mafia Records, his own record label.

Comethazine's debut studio album, Pandemic, was released on March 27, 2020. Bawskee 4 will be released on October 23, 2020, followed by the music videos for "We Gone Win," "Air Max," and "Derek Jeter." Comethazine released the whole album alongside the song "556."

Comethazine the Artist, his upcoming album, will be released in late December 2020. Doogie was produced and shot on television. It will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on a date that is TBD.

Comethazine the Album was published on October 22, 2021. It was marketed with the singles "Spinback" and "Six Flags."
