1991–2008: An early life and work history began.

Lee Chae-rin was born in Seoul, South Korea, but the majority of her childhood was spent in Paris, Tsukuba, and Tokyo. She migrated to Paris alone for two years when she was 13 years old. CL said that "Culturally, I'm not 100% Korean." When living in different cities as the number of people increased. I'm very mixed and also very open."
