Celeste Buckingham Life

Celeste Rizvana Buckingham (born May 3, 1995) is a Slovak singer and songwriter with a Swiss-American roots.

Buckingham, the former champion of Cesko Slovenská SuperStar (2011), gained early recognition on the second season of the Czech and Slovak reality television series SuperStar, which was co-produced for audiences of both countries.

Despite being disqualified from the talent competition for the tenth time, the artist shortly established herself as a self-supporting artist.

Both her first singles, "Blue Guitar" and "Nobody Knows," received a top-ten response on the component airplay chart in her home country, as did her first collaboration with Majk Spirit on "Ja a ty," which was recorded for the rapper's studio album Nov. clovek.

Despite this, her mainstream resume followed the unveiling of her full-length debut, Don't Look Back (2012), which received a little bit of attention from authorities in the Czech Republic, who peaked at number ten on the Top 50 Prodejn.

Unlike its lead single, "Run Run Run Run," which soared to the top of the national charts in both countries and the Czech Republic, but overall, the most played song for any Slovak performer in the respective year, or rather second in the Czech region.

The collection received a number of accolades, most notably at the 19th MTV Europe Music Awards, making Buckingham the only female nominee in her own category, with four nominations in total at the local Slávik Awards.

Nonetheless, several of those listed acknowledged her general success in the music industry, such as the category New Artist of the Year, and her winning at the award.

AMO group's "Swing" and a solo single named "Never Be You" were among them.

"I Was Wrong" is her second duet with Spirit, her most recent release.

Buckingham is a licensed author of children's literature as well as an occasional host and model, and she co-authored The Lost Princess (2007), which was published by Divis-Slovakia with her sister Carmel.

One of the singer's most distinctive features on stage are her barefoot performances, which were influenced by Joss Stone.

1995–2006: Early life

Celeste Rizvana Buckingham was born in Zurich, Switzerland, on May 3, 1995, to parents from various ethnic backgrounds. Thomas' father, who was born in 1954, is a British-Irish immigrant, and her mother Zarin (born 1961), whose ancestry is also of Iranian descent, is also of Iranian descent. According to reports, her mother has both Greek and Czech roots. Celeste is a naturalized citizen of Switzerland, granting multiple citizenship. According to Celeste's own words, her mother left Iran in exchange for the Swiss Confederation in exchange for the Swiss Confederation, possibly in her mid-teens. She was in Thailand when she met her soon-to-be husband, who at the time was a University undergraduate, with whom she later moved to Alaska. Buckingham spent her childhood in Anchorage, where her father worked as a cardiologist. The Buckinghams immigrated to Europe in 1999. Her father accepted a career, settling the family in Slovakia. "We lived in Alaska when we were just little with our sister," the singer wrote in Slovak national daily newspaper SME. Before our parents lived in Switzerland for a while, we were always dreaming about them returning to Europe. However, they weren't keen on Switzerland any longer, so they were considering somewhere else, though they might have settled. My father-doctor had a job over there, which was a necessary precondition to help his family, which made the decision. Were supposed to stay [there] for a year, but we'll see what happens. And [t]here we are now for almost thirteen years." Buckingham and her younger sister, Carmel, were adopted in the foster system as a child until the age of three. Growing up in Borinka, a nearby village of Slovakia's capital, she was encouraged to take ballet and Latin dance lessons. She began playing musical instruments, such as guitar and piano, later in life.

Buckingham made her public debut in the field of juvenile literature. She crafted a short story in 2007, chronicling the adventures of the princess Lilly and her "lost" little sister Blossom, who was in the age of 12. The Lost Princess by Celeste and Carmel Buckingham was published in 2006 by Divis-Slovakia, inspired by a L. Frank Baum book. "The tale is about the kidnapping of the younger of two sisters, and how the older sister is able to locate her and bring her back to her family," the girls' father narrated shortly after her paperback publication. The characters have many adventures and then go through [sic] many challenges before their families are reunited. The characters must develop and get better through [sic] these challenges [...]. Georgina Soar's picture book illustrated by them would not attract much attention, and neither of the daughters will revisit their literary debut.

Rather, Buckingham began writing acoustic songs on her own, some of which would result in a child "album," while her sister, Anchorage, formed the off-stage band Anchorage, named after the town in Alaska where they once lived. "Blue Guitar," one of her first rough demos, was reportedly written when she was twelve years old. Despite developing a passion for music in her teenage years, she was not a happy adolescent. When questioned by Radka ervinková of Mlada in 2013, she explained that it was mainly due to a fight over lingering questions about her self-confidence at that time. "Guess it's difficult to believe, but there are moments when I felt like this alone, because I know I'm not strong enough for anyone," I'm sure that everything I do is wrong and I will never achieve anything." I'm sure it was puberty, but I was a constant gloom-and-doom in the twelfth and the fifteenth years, and [I] would not know what to do with myself. Only one thing saved me – the belief that I'm a natural performer. She was educated at Forel International School, which was established by her own mother, a devotee of the Bahá Faith, until her career-making time arose.

Buckingham took an advice from record producers Martin rámek and Andrej Hruka, who will soon become her mentors, to audition for season 2 of esko Slovensk SuperStar, a co-production of the UK series Pop Idol.

She was nominated for the Best New Artist category at the Radio Disney Music Awards in April 28, 2014; the awards were held on April 27, 2014. She sang of "I'm Not Sorry" from her album Where I Belong on March 3, and she dedicated it to all women for International Women's Day. She appeared in the Slovak television series Panelák in spring.
