Baek Jin-hee began her performing after being spotted on the streets by a talent agent. She has since appeared in Bandhobi (2009), where she plays a rebellious girl who befriends a Bangladeshi migrant worker; and the sex comedy Foxy Festival (2010), where she plays a young woman selling her used underwear.
Baek later appeared in the sitcom High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged (2011-2012), where he was a new graduate looking for a job. The series was well-known, and it brought her celebrity to a greater audience. In a fusion historical drama Jeon Woo-chi and romance drama Pots of Gold, there were supporting roles.
