Allen Payne (born July 7, 1968) is an American film and television actor best known for his role as Lance Rodman on NBC's The Cosby Show in its final two seasons and as C.J.

Life and career
Allen Roberts was born in Harlem, New York City, as the eldest son of Allen Roberts and Barbara Reeves. He attended Pennsauken High School in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey.
