Alisa Alekseyevna Kozhikina (born 22 June 2003) is a Russian child singer who won the first season of television singing competition The Voice Kids Russia in 2014.

Later this year, she appeared in Malta with her song "Dreamer" after she represented Russia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014.

Early life

Alisa Kozhikina was born in Uspenka, a small village in Kursk Oblast, on June 22nd. Alisa herself is no stranger to singing competitions, and has received a number of accolades along the way. She has participated in numerous competitions, including the 2010 Rose of the Winds, the 2011 Constellation of Youth, and the 2012 New Wave Junior.

Musical career

On the Russian Channel One, Kozhikina won the grand final of television singing competition The Voice Kids Russia in April 2014. She performed a Russian version of Mariah Carey's hit "My All" in the superfinal (the last stage of the competition) (with newly-written Russian lyrics by Maxim Fadeev, her mentor). 500 thousand roubles and a recording deal with Universal Music was the reward.

Alisa Kozhikina's song "Dreamer" was announced on September 22, 2014, winning Russia at the 12th annual European Eurovision Song Contest in Malta. Maxim Fadeev produced the song, but the lyrics were written by Kozhikina herself and Seyabkina's Olga Seryabkina. Alisa was the thirteenth woman to compete in the finals. With 96 points, she landed in fifth place in the competition.

Alisa appeared as a special guest at the Russian MuzTV Awards (in June) and sang all of the vocal parts of the main heroine of the 2014 US-language version of Annie, which was released in Russian cinemas on March 19, 2015.

Alisa Kozhikina's debut single, "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk, was released in April 2015. The singles "Little Red Riding Hood" and "I'm Lying on the Beach" will be followed by the end of August.
