Albert De Conti Cadassamare (1891–1967), also known as Albert Conti, was an Austrian-Hungarian-American film actor.
Life
Conti, a native of Gorizia (now part of Italy), gained minor success in American films, but first he concentrated in law (high school and law college in Graz) and natural science, then married Patricia Cross. He became an officer as World War I began. He was the son of Albert, Ritter Conti von Cedassamare and his wife, Countess Marie Bernhardine Kaboga, a descendent of an old Ragusan/Dubrovnik noble family (see: House of Caboga). He came to America after being released from the Austrian army at the end of World War I. He joined other now-impoverished postwar Europeans from both camps of the conflict.
