She appeared in Abby Logan on the comedy Ink and starred in the Disney Channel Original film Motocrossed.
Career
Austin was born in Palm Springs, California. Steven Kent Austin, a film director and chairman of the now defunct Tag Entertainment, is the daughter of the actress.
Austin made her acting debut in the 1992 TV film Criminal Behavior starring Farrah Fawcett. Three subsequent 1993 television films were followed before co-starring in the 1994 theatrical film North. She then co-starred in the film A Simple Twist of Fate with Steve Martin, which was nominated for a Young Artist Award.
Austin was co-star Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen of the CBS sitcom Ink in 1996 and was later cancelled after the series's first season. She then returned to Sister, Sister, On the 7th Heaven, the '80s Show, The 7th Heaven, Boston Public, Cold Case, and Near to Home. As well as being cast in the films Road Rage, Hansel, Gretel, A Mother's Instinct, Popstar (opposite Aaron Carter) and the Disney Channel Original film Motocrossed, Dorothy Carter, born in the United States.
She was also supposed to appear in an unproduced film based on the Monster Jam tour, which would have been a sequel to Motocrossed.
