Peters appeared in the ITV series Bad Girls for two episodes in 2001. Peters was a finalist on Celebrity Masterchef in 2009. She has appeared on many cookery shows, including Market Kitchen, Christmas Cooks, This Morning, and The F Word in 2008 with chef Gordon Ramsay. Peters finished runner-up to Paul Ross on BBC's Celebrity Mastermind in 2006. She appeared on Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Jamie Theakston appears in this episode. Peters spent a week in December 2006 with Susie Dent, the resident lexicographer, in Dictionary Corner on Countdown.

Peters appeared on Adrenaline Junkie in 2008 with Jack Osborne leaping out of a helicopter at 9,000 feet over Table Mountain. She also participated on the ITV's Soapstar Superstar, raising £35,000 for her chosen charities.

Peters appeared in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as the Wicked Queen, alongside Damian Williams and Phil Gallagher at Sheffield Lyceum Theatre in 2016.
