Emma Elizabeth Wylie Samuelson MBE (born 28 August 1960), better known as Emma Samms, is a British actress and television presenter best known for her role as Holly Sutton on the American daytime soap opera General Hospital and for replacing Pamela Sue Martin as Fallon Carrington Colby on the prime time soap opera Dynasty.

Samms twice turned down bids to appear in Playboy, once during her time in GM and the second during Dynasty. Rather, she appeared on the front of the February 1988 issue of Inside Sports in a bikini, as well as additional swimsuit photographs within the magazine.
Samms and her cousin, film director Peter Samuelson, co-founded the Starlight Children's Foundation in 1983, an organization that helps seriously ill children and their families cope with their anxiety, fear, and loneliness through entertainment, education, and family activities. Samms' brother and Samuelson's cousin, Jamie, who died of aplastic anemia at the age of nine, was the organization's retaliation.
Samms and Tristan Rogers went public in 1984 with their real-life love, but the couple broke down about the time she left General Hospital the next year. Samms was engaged to Marvin Hamlisch in the early 1980s and has been married four times: first to Bansi Nagji (1991–92), and to Tim Dillon (1994–95). Career
Samms appeared on Holly Sutton Scorpio on ABC Daytime soap opera GM from 1982 to 1985. Holly, Samms' character, died in a plane crash and she prefers to go to ABC's Dynasty. Samms appeared in "Kidnapped" on April 10, 1985 as Fallon Carrington Colby, a part originating from Pamela Sue Martin in 1981. The character was immediately transplanted into the new Dynasty spin-off The Colbys, which ran from 1985-1977. Samms and the character of Fallon returned to Dynasty in the ninth season of "The Siege Part 1" on September 23, 1987. Samms appeared on Dynasty for two seasons until its last episode on May 11, 1989. Dynasty: The Reunion, a 1991 miniseries.
