Charlotte Ross (born January 21, 1968) is an American actress.

Eve Donovan on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives from 1987 to 1991 on the NBC Daytime programming block, as Det.

From 2001 to 2004, Connie McDowell appeared on ABC's ABC police procedural drama series NYPD Blue.

Early life

Ross was born in Winnetka, Illinois, on January 21, 1968, and he grew up there. Debbie Ross Kullby, who is retired and living in Colorado, and Peter Ross (died 2009), a financial advisor, are among her parents. George, George, a hedge fund analyst, is her older brother. When she was eight years old, her first on-screen appearance was in My First Mouthpiece. She went on to appear in numerous local theater productions.

Personal life

Ross married Michael Goldman on October 18, 2003, giving birth to Maxwell Ross Goldman, his son. In 2008, she and Goldman separated. She lives in Los Angeles.

Ross contributed to PETA's anti-fur campaign by appearing naked in advertisements captioned "I'd Rather Display My Buns Than Wear Fur."

Ross announced her support for the Animal Legal Defense Fund's campaign "National Justice for Animals Week" in 2014 by filming a video.

Career

Ross moved to Los Angeles after graduating from New Trier High School, which her father opposed. She tried for Kelly Bundy in the Fox comedy series Married... with Children, but she was the producers' second choice behind Christina Applegate, whom she lost the role before being cast as Eve Donovan on Days of Our Lives. Ross co-starred with Katey Sagal in the television film Violation of Trust (aka She Says She Is Innocent). She appeared on Married... with Children as one of Bud Bundy's sexier peers the year before.

Ross' tenure on Days of Our Lives spanned 1987 to 1991, earning her two Emmy Award nominations. Mrs. Buchanans, Drexell's Class, Father & Order, Trinity, Beggars and Choosers, Jake in Progress, Fall Into Shadow, and A Kiss So Deadly are among her other television credits, including her Days co-star Charles Shaughnessy. She appeared in the Lifetime original films Montana Sky and Christmas in Paradise (both 2007). In 1992, she received a Gold medal for her role as a singer on The Heights' soundtrack album.

Ross appeared in the ABC police procedural drama series NYPD Blue from 2001 to 2004. Ross appeared in a New York Police Blue episode entitled "Nude Awakening" on February 25, 2003, which featured photos of her buttocks as she prepared to step into the shower. As a result, the FCC fined each of the 52 ABC stations $27,500 (a total of $1,430,000) for broadcasting "indecent content" from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. However, the FCC's enforcement of its indecency laws was "unconstitutionally vague and chilling" on January 4, 2011. Ross co-co-host a number of Tae-Bo infomercials with Billy Blanks in 2006. In 2011, Ross appeared in Summit's 3D film Drive Angry, alongside Nicolas Cage and Amber Heard. Ross played Judy Fabray, the mother of Quinn Fabray from 2009 to 2012 as Glee. (Dianna Agron). She appeared in four episodes. Ross began starring in the VH1 sports drama series Hit the Floor in 2013. Ross turned down an invitation to return to Days of Our Lives as Eve Donovan in 2014, and her role with Kassie DePaiva was recast with Kassie DePaiva because she was too occupied with other acting projects. Ross appeared in ABC's musical drama film Nashville for the first time. Felicity Smoak's mother was cast as Felicity Smoak's mother in The CW superhero film Arrow later this year.
