Walter Perez (born July 12, 1982) is an American film actor, television actor, and singer.

He is best known for his appearance in Fame.

Early life and education

Walter Perez was born in South Gate, California, and is of Mexican-American descent. He started performing in elementary school recitals as a flamenco dancer. Perez, a young girl from the Dominica, developed a passion for acting and joined Colors United, a performing arts group for inner-city high school students. Perez studied and received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice at California State University, Fullerton, California.

Personal life

After learning how to in Fame, Perez enjoys playing piano and other instruments. He spends his downtime riding in the Santa Monica Mountains. Walter Perez and his closest friends are enjoying free riding.

Career

Perez began his career in 2002. He has appeared in The Closer, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: A Beautiful Life, and A Beautiful Life, and appeared on Friday Night Lights. In 2010, he appeared in Cold Case, NCIS: Los Angeles, and In Plain Sight. He has appeared in many independent films, including August Evening. Luis, a kind-hearted butcher who falls in love with Lupe, the widow, is the protagonist of Evening. Walter appeared in Emilio, another well-known independent film. He appeared in the television film Walkout on HBO, and in Run for Your Life, he co-starred Al Crisotomo; and in the television film Walkout on HBO; he also performed Al Crisotomo. Perez is best known for his role in Fame, an updated version of the 1980 film.

Walter earned Outstanding Performance for his role in Evening at the 2007 Los Angeles Film Festival in the independent film August Evening, which was honoured with the John Cassavetes Award.
