Early life and education
Walter Perez was born in South Gate, California, and is of Mexican-American descent. He started performing in elementary school recitals as a flamenco dancer. Perez, a young girl from the Dominica, developed a passion for acting and joined Colors United, a performing arts group for inner-city high school students. Perez studied and received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice at California State University, Fullerton, California.
Personal life

Career
Perez began his career in 2002. He has appeared in The Closer, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: A Beautiful Life, and A Beautiful Life, and appeared on Friday Night Lights. In 2010, he appeared in Cold Case, NCIS: Los Angeles, and In Plain Sight. He has appeared in many independent films, including August Evening.
