During an interview with Mike Brunn of his podcast The Rock Experience, the legendary band's longtime manager Doc McGhee announced that pre-production would soon be underway. McGhee said, "It's a biopic about the first four years of KISS.' We're just getting off, right now. We've already sold it; it's already done, we've got a director, McG. That's going to keep the thing going, and it will appear in '24.'
