Todd James Lasance (born 18 February 1985) is an Australian actor best known for his appearances in several Australian television shows including Home and Away, Cloudstreet, Underbelly, and The Great Mint Swindle.

Personal life
Lasance is the son of Robert and Jan Lasance, as well as Chad, his older brother. He and his family lived in Medowie, New South Wales, before transferring to Newcastle, NSW, in 2002. He attended St. Philip's Christian College and studied drama as part of his Higher School Certificate before beginning formal training as an actor at Screenwise in Sydney. In December 2008, he returned to Screenwise to teach a short acting course for young students.
His acting career required him to live in Sydney, where he shared a flat with former Home and Away co-star Mark Furze. Lincoln Lewis, who played his adversary on the show, also rented an apartment with him.
He appeared in Mark Furze's band Falcon Road's "Favourite Habit" in December 2008. He was a contender for the 2009 Cleo Bachelor of the Year award.
On August 10, 2008, Lasance was involved in a car accident in which his Toyota Supra collided with an elderly woman's Honda Civic. He and his passenger sustained minor injuries, but the elderly driver was admitted to the hospital in a serious but later recovered enough to be released.

Career
Lasance made his acting debut on the teen drama series Blue Water High in 2006. In 2007, he appeared in the Seven Network soap opera series Home and Away as Aden Jefferies, which is generally known as his breakout role. Seven announced in October 2007 that he would be a regular for the 2008 season. He received the Logie Award for Most Popular Actor in May 2009. Lasance announced in December 2009 that he would leave the series in the hopes of pursuing his acting career in America. On December 11, 2009, he shot his last scenes.
Lasance made his film debut in 2008 with a small role in Fool's Gold. In 2010, Lasance appeared in one of the planned film sequels to the Australian crime drama series Underbelly. The film Underbelly Files: Tell Them Lucifer was concerned about two Victorian police officers' assassination of two Victorian police officers and the subsequent hunt for their killers. Dean Thomas, a police detective who was part of the investigation team, was depicted by the actor. On February 7, 2011, the film premiered.
The Sydney Morning Herald announced in March 2010 that Lasance had opted to co-star in the drama mini-series Cloudstreet, based on Tim Winton's book of the same name in which he appeared in Quick Lamb. The story follows two working-class Australian families who live together on One Cloud Street and was shot in Perth. Critics praised the series on the subscription channel Showcase on May 22nd, 2011.
Lasance had signed up to appear in a recurring role on the third season of the adventure drama series Rescue: Special Ops. Cam Jackson played Cam Jackson, a member of a rival rescue company that competes with the show's main team.
Lasance was confirmed to be a key character on ABC1's legal drama series Crownies in which he played charismatic young lawyer Ben McMahon in January 2011. Indiana Evans, a former Lasance actor, reunited the show on television with his former Home and Away cast member. The series premiered on July 14, 2011 and lasted for a season.
Lasance was cast in the Nine Network television film The Great Mint Swindle, portraying Peter Mickelberg, one of three Mickelberg brothers who was suspected of complicity in the Perth Mint Swindle, after his appearance on Crownies. Critics mixed about the film's premiere on March 11, 2012.
