Matilda Keeper (born 16 August 1997) is an English actress best known for her appearance on BBC soap opera EastEnders as Louise Mitchell.
Early life
Keeper was born in London, England, to Peter, one of the Spitting Image writers, and Amanda. Both the keeper and the baker have two brothers. She attended the D&B Academy of Performing Arts School in Bromley for 14 years. Keeper started dancing at the age of four before joining their company at the age of 7. Keeper at Bromley High School.
Career
Keeper started working in 2004 when she made television commercials. She made her debut on stage in Dick Whittington's debut appearance. In an episode of the ITV procedural drama The Bill, she made her television debut as an uncredited school student. She appeared in an Oliver production from March to July 2009, where she served as a member of Sovereign's team. She appeared as a dancer in the film Cuban Fury in 2014 and then appeared in an Oral-B advert and the 2015 short film Female Dog. Keeper made her television debut in 2016 in an episode of the CBBC's Millie Inbetween series.
Keeper appeared in the role of Louise Mitchell in the BBC soap opera EastEnders, which premiered on January 15, 2016. Her father Phil's (Steve McFadden) alcoholism, being injured in a fire that has caused permanent burns, her mother's mental health problems, being kidnapped, and becoming pregnant with Keanu Taylor's (Danny Walters) child were among her storyline topics. Keeper had made the decision to leave EastEnders in December 2019, with her last scenes airing on January 24th. Keeper would be cast in the BBC Three film Make Me Famous as Helen Cott in April 2020.
