Shane Kippel Life

Shane Warren Kippel (born June 4, 1986) is a Canadian actor.

He is best known for his role in Degrassi: The Next Generation as Gavin "Spinner" Mason.

Kippel was pulled out of the program and did not return for season 10 in 2010, after nine years on Degrassi; though he recently made an appearance in a season 14 episode.

He and several of his former cast members appeared in two episodes of Degrassi: Next Class once more.

Personal life

Career

In the 2003 film Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, Kippel appeared in Chad the Jock, which was described as "A teenager's introduction to heavy metal, cheerleaders, real love, and Satan." Ralph, the I-Wanna-Rock drummer who appeared on Life with Derek as the I-Wanna-Rock drummer in the band "D-Rock," had also appeared on Life with Derek.

In 2010, he appeared on Pure Pwnage and appeared as Davis in the film Dog Pound. On Degrassi: The Next Generation, Kippel appeared Gavin "Spinner" Mason from seasons 1-9 and reprised his role in the television film Degrassi Takes Manhattan. Kippel also reprised his role in an episode of season 14 and appeared alongside many of his previous cast members in two episodes of Degrassi: Next Class.

In 2018, Kippel appeared in Drake's music video for "I'm Upset," which took place during a Degrassi reunion, reprising his role as Spinner.

Kippel appeared on the rock band Open Your Eyes' debut album Truth or Consequence. Kippel is now a drummer for the alternative/rock band Dear Love.
