Ronell Langston Plasschaert (born 16 April 1992), also known as Ronnie Flex, is a Dutch hip hop performer and rapper.
Personal life
Plasschaert had a relationship with Famke Louise from mid-2018 to early-2019. In their Christmas song "Alleen door jou" they announced their union. Plasschaert's ex-girlfriend DJ Wef has a daughter.
Career
Plasschaert began playing music at a young age. He had his first success in the Netherlands with his album "Soldaatje," which he coproduced with fellow rapper Mr. Polska in 2012. Plasschaert released "Tankstation," his first solo album, which debuted at number ten in the Dutch Single Top 100, on March 20th. On November 14, 2014, he released De nacht, a nog jong, net as wij voor altijd. Plasschaert has since released several singles, including "Drank & Drugs," a song produced in collaboration with fellow rapper Lil' Kleine that debuted first in the Single Top 100 and stayed in the top charts for a total of 35 weeks.
Plasschaert appeared on the 16th season of the television show Expeditie Robinson in September 2015. Since 2018, he has been a member of the television show It Takes 2's judging jury. Plasschaert's single "Omarm me" appeared in June of that year, in collaboration with BL'F. In collaboration with Idaly, Famke Louise, and Bizzey, he unveiled a remix of "Wine Slow" on July 12th.
Plasschaert's own clothing line, CoolCat, launched his own clothing collection in October 2018.
