Richard Vance McDonald (born February 6, 1962) is an American country music singer and songwriter.
He appeared on BNA Records from 1998 to 2007.
He alternated with then-bassist John Rich as a vocalist for the first seven years of the band's existence.
Following Rich's departure, McDonald became the sole lead vocalist of Lonestar.
McDonald co-wrote several of the band's albums and sang lead on only one of them; the band will reformed in 2011.
