Life and career
Sajak grew up in the Severna Park, Maryland, area. At age 12, she began playing the guitar for the first time. "First Kiss," her first single, was released in 2011, an upbeat country pop song. Trey Fanjoy, a CMT Music Award-winning producer, directed "First Kiss" in Nashville, Tennessee. Sajak's video appeared on Wheel of Fortune's January 3, 2012, as a tribute to her 17th birthday. In 2013, Sajak recorded "Live Out Loud" in Nashville to honor Muriel Walters, a teenage girl in Maryland fighting cancer. One of her songs was included in the season finale of Sweet Home Alabama shortly afterward.
She started her freshman year at Princeton University in 2013. She also shot Teen Vogue in a fashion shoot.
Sajak took over for Vanna White as the letter-turner during the week of January 6–10, 2020, while her father recovered from surgery, and White herself was hosting Wheel in his place.
Sajak joined Wheel as a social reporter in the 2021–2022 season.
