Rambha Career

Career

Rambha completed her education at the age of 15, then embarked on her Malayalam film Sargam (1992) opposite Vineeth. The film attracted substantial audiences, and director E. V. Satyanarayana followed her and then starred her in the Telugu film Aa Okkati Adakku (1992), where she costarred Rajendra Prasad. The film received a lot of attention, and it prompted many film auditions from all around India. Rambha deliberately picked glamorous roles to attract film interest during her time in the late 1990s. Rambha appeared in films such as Hitler (1997), starring Chiranjeevi, were in roles that were unnecessary to the plot and only depicted as the lead actor's love interest.

In Three Roses (2003), where Jyothika, Laila, and Rambha played the lead roles, she began her career as a producer with the help of her brother. The film, on the other hand, struggled at the box office, and she fell heavily into debt following the film's debut. She sold her house at Mount Road, Chennai, in order to pay the loan, but she was also arrested in a cheque-bounce lawsuit brought by the film's financiers.

Rambha has performed in many languages and has always maintained a positive balance in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Bhojpuri, and Bengali. Rambha appeared in a thriller film titled Vidiyum Varai Kathiru in 2010. The film was shot in three languages, namely Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, but there was no such thing as a theatrical release of the film.

She had given up on films after her marriage, but the Telugu dance competition Dhee said she had to stop acting because she felt she was not getting meaty roles as she used to and has judged a very popular Tamil television show Maanada Mayilada and the Telugu dance competition Dhee. On Vijay TV, she returned from Toronto after a long absence.

She is a brand ambassador for Kolors health-care in Chennai.
