Pedro Winter Career

Life and career

In Paris, France, Winter was born on April 21, 1975. He grew up under the influence of heavy metal, hip-hop, and rock that would later appear in his songs, and Beastie Boys is his favorite band of all time. Thomas Winter, his brother, discovered electronic music in 1992. He began DJing at What's Up Bar and arranging the Hype Festival in Folies Pigalle and then Smoker The Palace with David Guetta shortly after.

Pedro met Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo in 1996, while he was a law student. Daft Punk, the soon-to-beaming duo, begged him to be their boss, and he obliged.

Headbangers Entertainment was founded in 2002 by Patrick Gohdi, who worked with Cassius, Cosmo Vitelli, Thomas Winter et Bogue, and DJ Mehdi. Winter established Ed Banger Records, a music division that first signed Mr. "Radar Rider" was the first release, followed by Justice in 2004, then SebastiAn, and finally Uffie, DJ Mehdi, Mr. Oizo, and others. Busy P. ceased directing Daft Punk in 2008 and turned his attention away from his name and music career.

In the song "Funky Squaredance," Winter performed on a Rapman synthesizer on Phoenix's debut album, United. "What's Your Name Again" - Fancy's remix single, was a club hit on its first release. The music video for this was also produced under the Ed Banger Records brand.

Pedro was married to Nadege Winter, the head of public relations at Parisian boutique Colette. Thomas Winter, an indie and electro house singer, is a former tattoo shop owner.
