Paul Harrison Tibbitt (born May 13, 1968) is an American animator, television writer, storyboard artist, singer, and director best known for his role on SpongeBob SquarePants.
Tibbitt took over as showrunner for the SpongeBob company after SpongeBob creator Stephen Hillenburg resigned in 2004.

Tibbitt was directing The Sponge Out of Water, Tibbitt's first film directorial debut.
