David Hollander (born May 16, 1968) is an American television writer, director, and producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Career
Hollander, a Pittsburgh-based legal drama, is the writer, screenwriter, and executive producer of The Guardian, a Pittsburgh-based legal drama. Simon Baker, the series's stars, appeared on CBS from September 2001 to May 2004.
He created the TNT series Heartland in 2007 and has been the showrunner of Showtime's Ray Donovan since 2014. For directing the episode "Exsuscito," he was nominated for an Emmy.
