Nigel Derek Harman (born 11 August 1973) is a British actor best known for his role as heartthrob Dennis Rickman in the BBC soap opera EastEnders.

He has worked mostly in theatre, with the stage being referred to as his "first passion."

He appeared in the final series of Hotel Babylon.

He began filming for the fourth series of Downton Abbey in early 2013, portraying visiting valet Mr Green.

Bradley Dawson appeared in Sky One's Mount Pleasant from 2013 to 2017.

In Season 4 of Cuckoo, he appears as Lloyd as of 2019. He has appeared in many musical roles, including Sky Masterson in Michael Grandage's revival of Guys and Dolls and Lord Farquaad in the original London production of Shrek the Musical, for which he received an Olivier Award for his role.

By the age of eight, he already had a boss and made his first major television appearance in the BBC1 drama series Tenko in 1984, which was followed by appearances in Alas Smith and Jones (1986) and The Honey Siege (1987). He then moved to larger theatre roles, appearing in such productions as Privates on Parade, Much Ado About Nothing, and Summer Holiday. He studied at Arts Educational Schools in London and was in the original cast of Mamma Mia! He performed on cruise ships for six and a half months, but told Paul O'Grady that he disliked the process.

Harman, who has only worked on stage and in musical theatre since leaving private school, is keen to return to television and pursued television roles. He appeared in episodes of Red Cap, Doctors, and Coupling, but he needed to help himself by working at Pizza Hut and as a driver for supermarket chain Sainsbury's fate was not unusual for many actors.

Dennis Rickman, the high-profile actor in the BBC soap opera EastEnders, appeared in 2003.

Phil Mitchell, a local tough guy, was the first of his many rivals in his first appearance. Dennis was beaten up by a gang who had been sent around by Phil a few months ago. Harman will appear in the West End's I Can't Sing! The X Factor Musical, which opened in February 2014 at the London Palladium, was the subject of a documentary X Factor Musical. Despite positive reviews, the musical closed in May.

Harman was also named as the director of Shrek The Musical, which opened in July in Leeds and concluded in Salford in February 2016. In December 2017, the tour descended on Edinburgh.

In 2007 and 2008, he appeared in Channel 4's Comedy Showcase and City of Vice, as well as an episode of BBC drama series Lark Rise to Candleford. In Telstar, he appeared in his first major film role (as singer Jess Conrad).

In 2009, he appeared in Plus One and took over Max Beesley as the new male lead in the BBC drama Hotel Babylon, playing new owner Sam Franklin. In the Channel 4 online educational game 'The Curfew', he also appeared as a "Dealer."

In 2011, he appeared in an Agatha Christie's Marple episode.

Mr Green, a visiting valet, appeared in the fourth series of Downton Abbey in 2013. Bradley Dawson appeared in Mount Pleasant from 2013 to 2017, as he progressed to 2017.
