Mukesh Life

Mukesh Chand Mathur (22 July 1923 to August 1976), also known as Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer.

Mukesh is considered to be one of India's most well-known and acclaimed playback singers.

Among the numerous nominations and awards he received, his song "Kai Baar Yuhi Dekha Hai" from the film Rajnigandha (1973) received the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer. Mukesh was also known for his role as the voice of actors Raj Kapoor, Manoj Kumar, Feroz Khan, Sunil Dutt, and Dilip Kumar.

Early life

Mukesh was born in Delhi in a Mathur Kayastha family. Zorawar Chand Mathur, an engineer, and Chandrani Mathur were his parents. He was the sixth child in a family of ten children. Sundar Pyari, the music teacher who came home to teach Mukesh's sister, discovered a student who would attend from the adjoining room. After the tenth grade, Mukesh left school and worked briefly for the Department of Public Works for a short time. During his time as an employee in Delhi, he experimented with voice recordings and later improved his singing abilities as well as his musical skills.

Personal life

Saral Trivedi, the daughter of Raichand Trivedi, married a millionaire. Saral's father's consent for this marriage could not be obtained, and Mukesh and Saral were forced to marry without a proper house, an erratic income, and what was then regarded as a "immoral" occupation (singer in movies). They married in a temple in Kandivali on July 22nd, Mukesh's 23rd birthday, with the support of the actor Motilal and the residence of R. D. Mathur. Everyone had gyny and divorce, but neither weathered the lean days and commemorated their thirtieth wedding anniversary on July 22, 1976, four days before he left the United States. The couple had five children, Rita, the actress Nitin Nalini (d. 1978), Mohnish and Namrata (Amrita). Neil Nitin Mukesh is the grandson of Mukesh (son of Nitin).

Mukesh Career

Singing career

When Mukesh sang at his sister's wedding, he first noticed him. Pandit Jagannath Prasad brought him to Mumbai and arranged singing lessons for him. During this period, Mukesh was given a role as an actor-singer in a Hindi film, Nirdosh (1941). "Dil Hi Bujha Ho To" was his first film as an actor-singer for Nirdosh, written by Neelkanth Tiwari. With the film Pehli Nazar, he first hit song as a playback singer, actor Motilal actor "Dil Jalta Hai To Jalne De" for actor Motilal in 1945, with music composed by Anil Biswas and lyrics written by Aah Sitapuri.

In his early days of playback singing, Mukesh imitated his idol. It's actually that when K. L. Saigal first heard the song "Dil Jalta Hai," he said, "That's strange, I don't recall singing it."

Mukesh developed his own singing style with the support of music producer Naushad Ali, who helped Mukesh to break out of his Saigal style and create his own style. For the film Andaz, Naushad gave him songs. In this film, Mukesh was the ghost voice of Dilip Kumar, and Mohammed Rafi sang for Raj Kapoor. In films including Anokhi Ada (1948), Mela (1949), and Andaz (1949), he made many hits for Naushad. Anil Biswas in Anokha Pyar, Ye Mera Diwanapan hai, Shankar-Jaikishan, Nada Tadhary, and Madhumati's Salil Choudhary were among the many composers who used Mukesh voice for hit songs like "Jeevan Sapna toot gaya." However, Dilip Kumar selected Rafi as his ghost voice later in life, and Mukesh became Raj Kapoor's ghost. Mukesh had the most songs for Shankar-Jaikishan, which is 133 songs ahead of Kalyanji Anandji's 99 songs. Mukesh received three awards for Shankar-Jaikishan songs out of a total of four filmfare Awards.

"Mai Baar Yuhi Hai" from Rajnigandha (1974), "Sabse Bada Kahi Hai" in Pehchaan (1977), "Kab Hichi Hai" in Pehchaan (1974), "Sab Kuch Seekha Hai" (composed by Khayyam) and "Kabhi Mere Dil Mein" in Pehchaan (1977), "Sahi Bahie (1974) in Pehi He performed over 1,300 songs. This number is smaller than those sung by some of his contemporaries, but the truth is that Mukesh placed more emphasis on quality rather than quantity. His poor health can be attributed to his worsening heart disease.

Both Mukesh and the Kalyan Anandji music director duo performed many songs. After Shankar–Jaikishan, Mukesh performed more songs with the K-A duo. "Naina hai jadoo dhwee kob saathi hye," Kalyanji saathi (1958), "Wom tumhir saathi"), "Mere tumken em se kena gya khai na" ("Dajn ki kahwa ye eh he hyaai h a he t ta tu ta ta bin jhe tah h ti h ko sa h tai i h te o ta kha ta b ta he ai e te ko tai ta ta e ta ta tai chai te ta he ko khai tai ko na ti hawai hya hai a hai hai hai hai hai hai hai hai hai ta hai hm hai hai hai hai hai hai hai he e hai hai hai hai hai hai hai hai hai hai hai hai hai hai hai hai hai he h jh hai hai r cha hai hai sa hai hat hai he jo ya e h jhe he hai hai hai hai hai e sa hai hai ka hai he ka ta hai hai tu h ti hai hat t hai hai e e he hj hai e hai maa sa ti hai hai hai j hai hai hai hai tu ta hai hai hai mua hai hai hai hai hai hai hai ta hai hai e hai tu hai hai hai hai hai e hai n ko hai ka hai hai hai hai hai hai hai he m sa hai ta hai h hai hai hai hai, ya hai hai mah hai e kha hat h ta ki hai t hai e hai hai hai hai hai...

"Kahin door jab dhal Jaaye" from Anand (1971), "Maine Tere Hai" from Anand (1972), "Leg yahan marna yahan" and "Kehta yakker" from Mera Naam Joker (1971), are among his many hits among his fans and followers.

Mukesh performed 110 songs for Raj Kapoor, 46 songs for Manoj Kumar, and 19 songs for Dilip Kumar in his career.
