Early life
Collins was born in California. Her mother is a Filipino immigrant who hails from Kalibo, Aklan. Her father is of Irish-Italian descent. When her mother was working at Bloomingdale's, her parents met in Los Angeles. When she was four years old, her parents divorced. When she was nine years old, her mother remarried. She has a younger half-brother.
Collins grew up in Vallejo, California. When she was ten years old, her family moved to Kalibo, Aklan. She lived in Boracay for four years and attended Brent School Boracay.
Personal life
Collins is a cousin of actress Lauren Young and Megan Young. She is a close friend of actress Jessy Mendiola. In October 2015, Collins was baptized as a Born-again Christian. Collins revealed her relationship to fiancé Pancho Magno in May 2017. She revealed it on Instagram. On December 11, 2017, they were married in a Christian ceremony at the Manila Marriot Hotel. Career
Collins began doing commercials when she was ten years old. She has also appeared in magazines such as Meg, Candy, Mega, People, and Seventeen. She was discovered by a talent scout while walking into a store when a shooting was ongoing. After a year, she was taken to ABS-CBN, Tried out a VTR with Star Magic, and got a call back after a month. She was eventually accepted for Star Magic Batch 15.
Collins was only 13 when she was announced as a member of the Star Magic Batch 15 family. Collins left for the United States in 2010 to figure things out when her contract with Star Magic came to an end. She returned to the Philippines to relaunch her entertainment career a year after.
