Matthew Vincent Lattanzi (born February 1, 1959) is an American actor and dancer.
He is best known as the first husband of singer and actress Olivia Newton-John, as well as his role in films including My Tutor and Paradise Beach.
Personal life
Lattanzi was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, the son of Jeanette (née Slowikowski) and Charles Paul Lattanzi. His father was a maintenance man of Italian descent, but his mother was of Polish origins. In 1977, he graduated from Benson Polytechnic High School.
Olivia Newton-John, whom he married in 1984, was on filming Xanadu (1980). Chloe Rose Lattanzi, the couple's one daughter, was born on January 17, 1986, but they had one child, Chloe Rose Lattanzi. His acting career was mostly over by 1993, and he began working as a contractor for a California homebuilding company. In 1993, Lattanzi and Newton-John moved to Australia so he could perform for the soap opera, Paradise Beach. He earned a six-month deal for the show.
Lattanzi and Newton-John announced their separation on April 24, 1995. Olivia Newton-John would be in a friendship with Patrick Kim McDermott a year later. Lattanzi was in a love relationship with Cindy Jessup from 1997 to 2007.

Lattanzi was also featured in Paradise Beach's Australian soap opera, Paradise Beach, and appeared in four of Newton-John's music videos: "Landslide," "Soul Kiss," "Toughen Up" and "Can't We Talk It Over in Bed."
