I have been hoping to be on EastEnders for the rest of my lifetime, as my sister, who is a big fan, has joined it. I'm so excited to be the first TV actress, but I didn't expect it to be so large. I've met several of the cast members who would be filming, and I can't wait to begin filming. Lapinskas expressed concern over his debut, but the show's spin-off EastEnders: E20 helped him to feel more comfortable.

Although I will miss EastEnders and everyone else involved, I am extremely excited about forthcoming projects and what is next for me as an actor. In an interview with Inside Soap, Lapinskas said that EastEnders was his first job outside of drama school and that he learned a lot from the people he worked with. "I was really worried when I found out Anthony would be gone," he continued. I'd have liked to do a lot more with him." It's a shame not to be a part of what's coming up."
