Matthew William Lapinskas (born 27 February 1989) is an English actor best known for his appearances in Anthony Moon's BBC soap opera EastEnders from 2011 to 2012.
He appeared in Dancing on Ice's eighth series, finishing as the runner-up with skating partner Brianne Delcourt.
Early and personal life
Lapinskas was born in Surrey in 1989 and is of Canadian and Lithuanian origins from his father's side. He earned a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at Brooklands College and became a member of their theatre company, where he received a number of awards for his work in The Opposite of People. He then went on to study at Italia Conti in London, where he obtained his BA (Hons) in Acting from 2007 to 2010.
Career
In 2007, Lapinskas appeared in Stephen Surjik's film I Want Candy, and in 2011, he appeared in BBC soap opera EastEnders as Anthony Moon. "I'm completely over the moon" as a result of his casting.
