Lucas Hernandez Life

Lucas François Bernard Hernandez (born 14 February 1996), or simply Lucas, is a French professional footballer who plays for left back or central defender for German club Bayern Munich and the French national team. He made more than 100 competitive appearances with Atlético Madrid, Germany.

In the same year, he won the 2018 Europa League and the Super Cup.

Lucas, a French national, has been a member of the 2018 World Cup's winning squad since 2018.

Personal life

Jean-François, Hernandez's father, was also a footballer who played as a center back. He also played for Atlético Madrid and was born in Spain; Hernandez's older brother, Theo, was also born at the club and played in the same position. In an interview with Marca in October 2018, he said that his family had not heard from their father for 12 or 13 years.

Hernandez was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his mother, who had been summoned to appear in court on 3 February. Hernandez and his partner, Amelia Llorente, were sentenced to 31 days of community service, while Hernandez was also given a restraining order prohibiting him from approaching 500 meters of Llorente.

Hernandez was arrested in June of the same year for breaching the restraining order after he and Llorente landed in Madrid together, returning from their honeymoon. Hernandez was sentenced to six months in jail by a Spanish court on October 13, 2021; Hernandez successfully appealed his plea and was sentenced to four years in jail and fined €96,000.

Lucas Hernandez Career

Club career

Hernandez, who was born in Marseille, moved to Spain at the age of four (as a result, he would later speak French with a slight Spanish accent) and joined Atlético Madrid's youth team in 2007. When he was still a youth, he was called up by coach Diego Simeone for a La Liga match against Villarreal CF on November 9, 2013, but he remained unused in the 1–1 away draw the next day.

Hernandez made his senior debut on April 26, 2014, starting for the reserves in a 0–1 defeat against Real Sociedad B in the Segunda División B. He appeared in three more games during the season, barely escaping relegation; he also signed a new contract with the club in June, running until 2018.

Hernandez made his first-team debut on December 3rd, 2014, defeating CE L'Hospitalet in the campaign's Copa del Rey. In a 4–1 victory over Athletic Bilbao, his first appearance in the Spanish top league took place on the 21st when he came on as a late replacement for Guilherme Siqueira.

Hernandez remained inactive on August 10, 2015, and was recently promoted to the main squad. He made his first appearance in the UEFA Champions League on March 15th, when he recalled injured Diego Godn for extra time of the round-of-16 tie against PSV Eindhoven (0–0 after 120 minutes, 8–7 penalty shootout triumph); he returned to the same spot in the final, a shootout loss to neighbor Real Madrid in the San Siro on May 28.

Hernandez signed a contract extension with Atlético on August 6, 2016. During the 2016-17 season, he was a more prominent figure for Atlético. Hernandez appeared in 22 games in all leagues during the season. In 20 of these games, he was in the starting lineup.

Hernandez was a key member of the team during the 2017-18 season, when he played in 44 games in all competitions. Atlético has qualified to the 2018 Europa League Final. He got off and played the entire game against Marseille, France's. Atlético defeated the match 3-0, while Hernandez won his first international trophy.

Hernandez scored his first goal as a professional on January 19, 2019 in a 3–0 away victory over SD Huesca.

Hernandez would leave the team in the summer of 2019. Atlético announced on March 27, 2019 that he would leave the team in the summer of 2019. Hernandez was given a contract extension by Atlético, but he chose Bayern Munich, a Bundesliga club. Hernandez's release clause of €80 million was activated by Atlético, according to Atlético. A injury to Hernandez's right knee was discovered during a medical examination by Bayern Munich medical staff. The injury necessitated surgical intervention. Hernandez had a fruitful operation on his right knee on March 28, 2019. Hernandez's time with Atlético came to an end.

Hernandez appeared in 14 La Liga games and scored one goal. He appeared in 22 games and scored one goal in all tournaments.

In an interview with Marca on October 12, Hernandez's former coach at Atlético, Diego Simeone, said that the left back's departure to Bayern had left the academy in a big way: "It hurt" More than [Antoine] Griezmann," who left Atlético at the same time for Barcelona.

Hernandez will join the club on July 1, 2019 for a club record (and Bundesliga record) fee of €80 million, and the club's first-year contract through 2024, according to the club's founder. On August 10, he made his Bayern debut in a first round match against Energie Cottbus in the DFB-Pokal as an 89th-minute replacement. Hernandez, a champion of the Champions League, became a champion alongside his Bayern Munich colleagues on August 23, 2020.

Hernandez scored his first goal for Bayern Munich in a 6–2 away win over Red Bull Salzburg in the 2020–21 UEFA Champions League, on November 3, 2020.

International career

Hernandez earned his first cap for France on March 6, 2012, while the under-16 team played the full 90 minutes against Italy at Coverciano in a 1–1 friendly draw. He appeared on both the under-18 and under-19 teams in 2014. He was chosen for the 2015 UEFA European Under-19 Championship Team of the Tournament for his efforts the previous year.

Hernandez was called up to the senior team by manager Didier Deschamps for friends with Colombia and Russia in March 2018. Lucas Digne was on his debut against the former on Tuesday, replacing him for the last 14 minutes of Paris's 2–3 loss.

Hernandez was selected for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. He made his debut in the competition on June 16th, winning by a full 2–1 margin over Australia; he appeared in all of the matches for the eventual champions, six of whom were unconstitutional.

The two players were then fielded in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals against Belgium, Lucas for the first time; the two teams were then fielded in the 3–4–1–2 formation as a left center back and a left wingback, respectively, making it the first time they met together in a senior competitive game, with Theo scoring the late-time winning goal.

Baked beans and bacon for breakfast, sushi and sashimi for dinner! A look back at Harry Kane's three-night hotel stay in Munich...as the boss says he was just as good a guest as the Queen!

www.dailymail.co.uk, December 31, 2023
Kane is moving to a place of his own in the New Year, alongside his wife Katie, their four children, his father, brother, and his siblings' two nannies. Last week, he posted a farewell picture with hotel employees on Instagram, thanking them for their service. When asked to reflect on his time in the hotel, Dominik Reiner, the hotel's general manager, waxed lyrical about the former Tottenham man.

Harry Kane wanted a Man United move, but Erik ten Hage wanted Kane, so why did the England captain end up in Munich rather than Manchester?

www.dailymail.co.uk, December 9, 2023
CHRIS WHEELER: Any day now, it has been reported that Harry Kane would move out of his opulent suite at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Munich's middle of the city and take up permanent residence in a palatial villa in Baierbrunn, a wealthy suburb south of the city close to the Isar river. This is a well-known house that once belonged to Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez and held some very memorable parties. Mehmet Scholl, another notable inhabitant, is another notable figure. Matthias Schweighoefer, the actor and film director, is supposed to have shot one of his films there. Bayern used to be known as FC Hollywood in Germany, and this would be a good place for Kane and his four children to call home with their wife Kate and their four children after so long being in a hotel.

As he is at Arsenal, William Saliba says he is not in the same physical shape as he is - admits Didier Deschamps - with the defender playing twice for his country this year

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 16, 2023
Saliba is battling for space with Ibrahima Konate, Lucas Hernandez, Dayot Upamecano, and Jean-Clari Todibo, although not competing in the Emirates. According to Deschamps, the change may have caused concerns in Saliba's mind. He said, 'He hasn't necessarily found himself in the best circumstances in matches where I've moved a lot.'
