Early life
Henson was born in Westchester County, New York, and the daughter and the oldest child of puppeteers Jane (née Nebel; 1934-1990) and Jim Henson (1936-1990). She has four younger siblings: Cheryl (born 1961), Brian (born 1963), John (1965-1984), and Heather Henson (born 1970).
Career

She has been president of Columbia Pictures' production as well as an executive for Warner Brothers in addition to her direct television and film work.
