Larissa Marolt Career

Career

Marolt auditioned for Next Top Model in Austria, where she was selected as one of the top ten girls to appear on the television show at the age of 16. In the last episode, she was named the winner of the competition "Austria's Next Topmodel." The award included a contract with modeling firm Wiener Models, an appearance on the front page of the Austrian Magazine Miss in February 2008, a stint as the face of Swarovski Crystallized's new advertisement campaign, and Heidi Klum's participation in Germany's Next Top Model Exhibition, making her the second (after Andrea Akmazdic from Croatia and Bosnia) contestant worldwide to appear on two separate Top Model shows.

Despite being a veteran of the show and the audience's favorite, Marolt struggled to win the affection of her fellow contestants, resulting in her exile from the group. She walked the runway in the Amber Fashion Show and the Vienna Life Ball in 2009 after her participation in both performances. Madonna or Live are among her many Austrian magazines that include Madonna or Live.

Marolt was featured in a spin-off exhibition produced by Germany's Next Top Model WG in early 2010, based on the US reality show Model WG's Die Model WG. Despite being booked for a runway performance in the first episode, Marolt decided to drop in Episode 2 in favour of education, where she was occupied with her exam preparations for her forthcoming A-Level, which she has completed. She travelled to New York and studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute. After graduing, she went to Berlin where she appeared as Maxi Koenig in the German film Anna und die Liebe. Beside being actress Danni Lowinski, she appeared in the television series Danni Lowinski.

Marolt had to complete ten bushtucker trials, which are used to allow the contestants to obtain food and treats for the camp. She was chosen by the television viewers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to eight trials in a row, setting a new world record for the first time in any of the international shows, as no other celebrity in any of the international broadcasts had been chosen consistently.

Marolt was honoured by her birth town of Klagenfurt with a reception and the 'Special Lindwurm Award' from its mayor Christian Scheider on February 8, 2014.' This special award was given to German entertainer Thomas Gottschalk only once in 2004.
