Mettin Copier (born January 4, 1989), also known as Spirit Hips, is a Dutch-born Austrian footballer who has most recently played for Ducht amateur team FC Breukelen.
Club career
Before joining the academy of Dutch Economy side AZ Alkmaar in 2007, Copier played for youth teams SV Siveo'60 and USV Elinkwijk. He played for Alkmaar's reserve team and was promoted to the senior team in 2009. After a short time on loan at Telstar in the Eerste Divisie in 2010, Copier returned to FC Oss in 2010, playing 3 games and scoring 2 games for the team before being dissatisfied with the team's manager.
In 2011, Copier moved to the United States to compete for the Dayton Dutch Lions in the USL Professional Division.
He joined FC Breukelen from fellow amateurs RKSV Leonidas in Rotterdam in summer 2014.
In November 2017, Copier became part of the ASV Fürth, a seventh-tier regionalliga Mittelfranken 1 team. He joined SG Quelle Forth, the sixth-tier Landesliga, ahead of the 2019-20 season.
Copier, whose father is Dutch but whose mother is Austrian, has announced his intention to compete for the Austrian national team in 2007.
