Kristina Kockar (born May 26, 1989), better known as Kija, is a Serbian singer and former flight attendant who came to fame as the champion of the Serbian reality show Zadruga, which aired on RTV Pink.

Personal life

Kristina Kockar was born in Zrenjanin, SFR Yugoslavia, on May 26. Nadica Zveljkovi, a restaurant server, married Kristina Kockar. Kija attended Hotelier College in Belgrade after graduating from the Zrenjanin Grammar School. She served as a flight attendant in Airpink, Air Serbia, and Etihad Airways before becoming well-known.

Slobodan Radanovi, a singer and former Pinkove Zvezde contestant, married her on September 26, 2016. Kija had divorced from Radanovia on August 7, 2018.

Media career

After her husband cheated on her on air with another contestant, Luna ogani, Kockar launched reality series Zadruga on RTV Pink in November 2017. She gained instantaneous affection and acclaim from the audience and won the show on June 20th, winning more than 55% of the public vote.

With her debut single "Ne vram se na staro" (I'm Not Going Back to the Old), released on July 20, 2018, she decided to pursue a career in music after the show. More than 30 million views have been earned on YouTube for the song's official music video. In addition, Kija released her autobiography, Moj potpis (My Signature), in which she discussed her friendship with Radanovi and her time in Zadruga. Despite being one of the Belgrade Book Fair's most popular attractions, the book has received polarizing attention in the public. Pinkove Zvezde: All Talents and Pinkove Zvezdice: All Stars, between 2018 and 2019. In November, Kockar was proclaimed Serbian gay icon of 2018.
