Early life
Koo Jun-hoe was born in Seoul, South Korea, on March 31, 1997. "13 year old Michael Jackson" made his first television appearance on SBS' Star King in March 2009. Jun-hoe appeared on SBS' first season of K-pop Stars in 2011. Following his expulsion from the show, he was scouted by YG Entertainment and joined the company as a trainee in April 2012.
Who Is Next as a member of Team B's 2013 Jun-hoe enrolled in Mnet's reality survival program. Team A finished the competition with a win and a debut as Winner, with Team B returning to train under the YG brand. Team B's members will be competing again in a second reality survival game, Mix & Match, shortly after, back in 2014. The show culminated in the debut of all Team B members as well as Jung Chan-woo under the banner iKon.
