Kimberly Rhodes (born June 7, 1969) is an American actress best known for her role as Ensign Lydnsey Ballard in "Ashes to Ashes" episode of Star Trek Voyager.
On two separate soap operas, Another World and As the World Turns, as well as Carey Martin in the Disney Channel sitcom The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, in which she played twins Zack and Cody (Dylan and Cole Sprouse).
She is also known for playing Sheriff Jody Mills on Supernatural.
Early life
Rhodes was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Benson Polytechnic High School and then attended Southern Oregon University, graduating in 1991 and earning a Master of Fine Arts from Temple University.
Personal life
Rhodes and her partner, actor Travis Hodges, reside in Los Angeles, California. Tabitha Jane, the couple's daughter, is autistic. Rhodes also autistic in April 2021.
Career
Rhodes was nominated as "Favorite New Couple" by the Soap Opera Digest Award in 1997, while on tour in Another World. She rewrote the lyrics for Godspell's first Another World fan club luncheon. She appeared in Nol Coward's Present Laughter and "Helena" in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream prior to her Disney Channel debut, playing "Daphne Stillington" in No.l Coward's "Helena" and "Helena."
Carey Martin appeared on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody in 2005. Her character was known for her spiky blonde hair and her can-do attitude. She reprised her role as Carey on the sequel series The Suite Life on Deck from 2008 to 2011.
On the CW's show Supernatural, she was cast as Sheriff Jody Mills in 2010. She appeared in Season 5; episode "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid," with her character appearing in every season as a guest star.
In 2018, Season 13's episode "Wayward Sisters" was used as a backdoor pilot for a new spin-off series of the same name that was supposed to feature Rhodes and fellow actresses Kathryn Newton as the main characters.
