Kim Hyo-jin Life

Kim Hyo-jin (born February 10, 1984) is a South Korean actress.

Personal life

Kim first met actor-director Yoo Ji-tae in 2003 when they were both models for a clothing chain, and their friendship developed into a passionate affair in 2006. They are one of the few Korean celebrity couples openly confessing to dating, are very active in charitable groups, and in 2011 they were both named honorary ambassadors for World Vision.

They announced their engagement in August 2011 (Kim reportedly canceled a film role to prepare for her forthcoming nuptials), then published pre-wedding photographs. The minimalist invitation was made from environmentally friendly paper and had the number 1,825 printed on it, representing the total number of days the two people have spent together as a couple. On December 2, 2011, the two were married at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul. Despite landing on a Friday, this was the couple's fifth anniversary together, and was booked by Yoo one year in advance. The president of World Vision Korea officiated the function; Yoo and Kim then donated a part of their monetary donations to the group to help with the construction of an elementary and middle school in Myanmar. The couple have two sons who were born on July 5, 2014 and April 15, 2019.

Kim is committed to a vegetarian diet for ethical and health reasons.
