Hager made her first television appearance in the Lifetime mini-series, where she first appeared on the Beach Girls in 2005. She appeared in the biographical drama film I'm Not There in 2007 and was one of the female leads in the science-fiction action horror film Aliens vs. Requiem, Alien's sequel to Alien vs. Predator Xiong selator.
