Kim Victoria Fields (born May 12, 1969) is an American actress and television producer.

Fields is best known for her appearances on television sitcom The Facts of Life (1979-88) and as Regine Hunter on Fox sitcom Living Single (1993–98).

Fields is the niece of actress/director Chip Fields and the older sister of actress Alexis Fields.

Fields is the niece and older sister of actress Alexis Fields, best known for her roles on Kenan & Kel, Moesha and Sister, as well as Roc.

Personal life

Fields was married to film director Johnathon Franklin Freeman from 1995 to 2001. Sebastian Alexander Morgan, the first child of Fields, was born by then-boyfriend, Broadway actor Christopher Morgan. In People magazine, the couple announced their son the following week. They were married in a private ceremony officiated by Pastor Donnie McClurkin on July 23, 2007. On July 24, 2013, she and her husband discovered another child, a boy, on the talk show The Real. Quincy Morgan, the couple's second son, was born in Atlanta, Georgia.

Fields co-starred in a short-lived sitcom called Baby, I'm Back with Demond Wilson and Denise Nicholas, and she appeared in a television commercial for Mrs. Butterworth's syrup before being on The Facts of Life. She appeared on two episodes of Good Times as a friend of Penny Gordon Woods, played by Janet Jackson. "The Snow Storm" and "The Physical" were two Fields' episodes on Good Times.

Dorothy "Tootie" Ramsey appeared on the NBC sitcom The Truth About Life Fields of Life from 1979 to 1988. Many people are still remembering her name, "We're in troubble!" even more than a decade ago. Fields was so short when the show premiered, that the producers had her on roller skates during the first season to avoid difficult camera angles. However, she later on in life as Arnold Jackson's girlfriend on The Facts of Life's parent program Diff'rent Strokes because she was taller than Gary Coleman, who played Arnold. Fields released two singles on the Critique Records label in 1984: the disco/Hi-NRG "He Loves Me Not" (which became a minor band hit), and "Dear Michael" (which became a minor R&B hit), which went to No. 6) in 1984. Since being unable to act, I attended Pepperdine University. Fields appeared in a 1993 episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, in which Will Smith induced her to marry her in an attempt to seduce her. Fields appeared in the hit Fox sitcom Living Single from 1993 to 1998 as Regina "Reginé" Hunter.

Fields, Fields, formed a band called Impromp 2, shortly after Living Single's demise, began performing rap music and R&B. Fields began directing with her degree from Pepperdine University. A number of episodes of the All That! appeared on television. Fields produced several episodes. Kenan & Kel, a spin-off, appeared in two episodes. She has appeared on comedy's Meet the Browns, Tyler Perry's House of Payne, and BET's Let's Stay Together.

Fields appeared on television shows such as UPN's One on One, The Golden Palace, and even appeared on HBO's The Comeback. Fields reunited with her co-star Lisa Whelchel on WFAA's Good Morning Texas on February 1, 2007. Fields was in Dallas to promote her appearance in the film Issues: When Whelchel was introduced as a surprise visitor, she was in awe. Fields and Whelchel first met together in six years (since The Facts of Life Reunion film) for the first time in six years.

Fields has collaborated on projects with her husband Christopher Morgan. She and Christopher produced and directed a Christmas television special called Holiday Love in 2010. The whole show was shot in three days by the narrator. On TV One, Holiday Love debuted, and a second episode of Christmas, 2011, aired. Fields characterized the Christmas special as "restorative and transformative" of her Christian faith in an interview that included background information on the show. In 2013, fields returned to holiday love on the internet.

It was revealed on August 18, 2015, that she would be starring the cast of Bravo reality television show The Real Housewives of Atlanta for its eighth season. She revealed on March 21, 2016, that she would not return to the program for a second season.

Fields was announced on March 8, 2016, as one of the celebrities to play on season 22 of Dancing with the Stars. Sasha Farber, a professional dancer, had been partnered with her. Fields and Farber were eliminated and the competition was ended in 8th place on May 2, 2016, during a double elimination.

Fields appeared in the Christian film A Question of Faith as Theresa Newman in 2017. Fields' first co-starring role in a film premiered in theaters on September 29, 2017.

Fields is a primary character on Netflix's The Upshaws, as of right now.
