Early life
Kim Corinna Raver was born and raised in New York City by her mother, Tina Maltesen (née Baensch), and her stepfather, Chris Meltesen. Milson Carroll "M. Carroll" Raver (1940–2007), a writer, photographer, cinematographer, and film producer, was her father. Cybele Raver, she has a sister. Nadja and James Raver from his second marriage, as well as Grace, Aimee and William Raver from his third and final marriage, all through her father's. She attended Northfield Mount Hermon School, a boarding school in Northfield, Massachusetts, where actor Bryan Callen was a classmate. Raver obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drama from Boston University. Raver continues to study theater in New York with instructor and mentor Wynn Handman. Career
Raver got her start as a child performer on Sesame Street in 1975, when she appeared on Sesame Street at age 6. She appeared on the program for three years. When she first started working in Visa and Jeep, she first worked in commercials. In 1995, she co-starred with Laura Linney and Tony Goldwyn in the Philip Barry play "Holiday," her first prominent role was her debut in Broadway. She appeared in Al Pacino's feature film City Hall. In "The Glimmer Brothers," a Williamstown Theatre Festival production written by Warren Leight, she also co-starred John Spencer (of NBC's The West Wing) and David Schwimmer. Audrey Raines appeared in the popular television series 24 on Third Watch, and she appeared in the popular television show The Raines for two seasons.
Raver appeared in the ABC television series The Nine during the fall 2006 television season. Despite outstanding critical feedback, the show did not succeed in the Nielsen rankings and was therefore cancelled. Audrey Raines reprised her role in 24's season 6.
