USMNT star Kevin Paredes signs with Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports: US Soccer's Young Male Player of the Year joins the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Vinicius Jr. ahead of Copa America

USMNT rising star Kevin Paredes has joined Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports ahead of this summer's Copa America. The 20-year-old Wolfsburg wideman made his debut for the USA senior team last year and was recently named US Soccer's Young Male Player of the Year for 2023. On Tuesday, it was confirmed that Paredes had signed a deal with Roc Nation to join the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Vinicius Jr.

As Ricardo Pepi, Antonee Robinson, and Gio Reyna score to beat Trinidad & Tobago 3-0, the USMNT breathed a sigh of relief, claiming to win the game with a Copa America berth on the line

The USMNT defeated Trinidad & Tobago 3-0 in Austin, Texas, in the CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals, with a tumultuous 90 minutes from the United States fusing with a flurry of goals at the right time. The Americans were unable to crack Trinidad's low block, which stifled any offensive hopes alive. Gregg Berhalter said that his team had to respect their opponents, he trotted out a team that had never been used by them before, played Kevin Paredes in his first appearance, and then put Malik Tillman on the wing in the absence of other wingers.

The roster for those friendlies was revealed today, including a mix of MLS faces as well as a number of returning members of the 'A' Team. With Europe playing Euro 2024 qualifiers, Africa playing AFCON qualifiers, and South America joining the World Cup qualifier, the USA has agreed to play in Minneapolis against Uzbekistan.
