Keelin Shanley, born 24 August 1968, is an Irish journalist, newsreader, and host for Raidió Partif's Éireann, Ireland's national radio and television station, where she has appeared with Caitrona Perry since January 2018. Shanley produced a number of award-winning documentaries while working as a reporter and host with RTÉ's flagship current affairs television show Prime Time for over ten years. Shanley has previously appeared on RTÉ One, Crimecall, Morning Edition, The Consumer Show, and documentary Hacked, as well as Morning Ireland, Today with Seán O'Rourke and The Late Debate on RTÉ Radio 1.
She has also worked as a news reporter for Radio France International and for CNN World Report.
Early life
The daughter of Derry Shanley and his partner Orna, Keelin Shanley grew up in Monkstown with her siblings. At Trinity College Dublin, she studied biochemistry.

Shanley died after a two-year battle with cancer, aged 51, on February 8, 2020. RTÉ reported it on Sunday. She was rescued by her husband Conor, their son, and their daughter. Shanley, who died on the same day as the 2020 Irish general election, had first been diagnosed during the 2011 Irish general election and spoke about her experience on The Late Late Show in 2013.

Shanley spent ten years as a reporter and host for RTÉ's top current affairs television show Prime Time, a ten-year commitment. Shanley produced a number of award-winning documentaries.
